If you follow the advice in the previous page and adjust the two script frameworks according to your own qualifications/experience you should be on the right track to creating a great introduction video.

Sharing your video

The only thing left to do is get your video into the hands of your schools. This might not seem like much of a challenge, but sometimes it can be tricky to send.

The best option is to email it to the school/recruiter which you’re applying with. However, some email providers have limits on file sizes and you may struggle to send your video to them if the file size is too large.

In this situation, you’ll need to upload it or send it through some other means.

If you’re applying for a position in China, or with a Chinese online tutoring company, the schools won’t be able to access your videos via YouTube or Facebook. Similarly, Google Docs might not work either, as these sites are currently blocked in China.

If your video is too large to send via email (some email providers have limited file sizes), then you could try uploading your video to one of these websites:

These sites allow you to quickly upload your video and share it with schools and aren’t currently blocked in China or other countries.

Getting feedback

If you’d like to get feedback on your video before sending it out to any schools, you can get in touch with our tutors. We’re always happy to review videos from our course graduates and give feedback to you. Simply message our tutors via the live chat, or our ‘contact us’ page.
